Abstract

The text analyzes five works of art made by different artists in the second half of the 20th century which produced, at different times and places, art events where music, film and video produced environments, installations, happenings and art projects networks in the mass telecommunication media. In an innovative mix, the art events incorporated dance, poetry, fashion and performance, bringing the “object” of art to spaces and environments other than those of museums and galleries, but also to a communication network. In these events the body had a central role in an interaction with rock, samba, tropicália and pop music.
