In the context of fashion design and sustainability-oriented approaches, the concept of transformable clothing gains prominence due to its capacity to be used in different ways. Despite its potential to reduce consumption and maximize garment use, research focusing on this clothing category is still scarce, especially regarding user experience and interaction. The present study aimed to evaluate users' actions and perceptions when wearing a transformable garment without the aid of verbal or visual instructions. The research was conducted using a quali-quantitative, experimental, and cross-sectional approach, carried out in a laboratory setting. The results demonstrate the versatility of transformable clothing and the existence of intuitive resources and strategies employed by users during reconfiguration. This study offers practical insights and recommendations for the development of transformable clothing items, aiming for end-user satisfaction.
